State Representative Ryan Spain and Peoria County Sheriff Brian Asbell will be hosting a Drive-thru Prescription Drug Drop-Off event in Peoria on Saturday, August 7 from 9:30am-11:00am. The event collects unwanted or expired prescription drugs and safely disposes of them for FREE.
This FREE event will occur at the Schnuck’s Parking Lot on North Knoxville Avenue at 10405 N Centerway Dr., Peoria, IL 61615.
A FREE 3′ x 5′ Illinois-made American Flag will be given to the first ten (10) participants. Limit one per household.
Accepted Medications include:
- Prescription medications
- Prescription ointments & patches
- Pet Medications
- Vitamins
Restricted Items:
- Needles
- Illegal Drugs
The prescription drug drop off is an outside event that allows you to remain in your vehicle. Drivers should follow the marked lanes when entering and exiting the parking lot. Brochures on state programs will also be available.
