Princeville High School is competing in the T-Mobile Friday Night 5G Lights contest. This contest is designed to highlight high school football programs across the country, giving one winning school a chance to receive state-of-the-art lighting upgrades and technology enhancements for its athletic facilities.
Princeville has already advanced through the first phase of the contest, winning $5,000. Now they need support to reach the next round and win $25,000, and advance on for a chance to win the ultimate prize.
Princeville High School is a small, rural school in central Illinois. With limited resources compared to larger districts, this competition represents a unique opportunity to bring attention and support to the student athletes and community. Winning or even being recognized in this competition can make a lasting impact on the students, families, and community as a whole.
How the contest works:
- Schools compete by encouraging supporters to engage with their posts on social media platforms.
- Votes are determined by Reposts, shares, and hashtags on Instagram posts featuring the school and mascot.
- Princeville High School’s supporters are posting under these hashtags: #FN5GL #Sweepstakes and tagging @TMobile and @PrincevilleCUSD on Instagram.
Because Princeville is a small town, every like, share, and post matters significantly. They need the support of community members, friends, alumni, and local leaders to help them reach as many people as possible. Each engagement brings them closer to the chance to upgrade their facilities and celebrate the hard work and dedication of their student athletes.
