VIDEO: Ryan Spain opposed raids to downstate road & bridge funds for Chicago transit

Last year, Democrats passed a mass transit bailout that created the Northern Illinois Transit Authority and took crucial funding from downstate road and bridge projects to try to save Chicago’s mismanaged system. Downstate taxes should not be used to solve Chicago’s Mass Transit problems. I spoke out against this during House Floor debate.
