National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is Oct. 26

Prescription drug abuse is a problem that effects millions of Americans and can to lead abuse of even more dangerous illegal drugs. Research shows that the majority of abused prescription drugs were obtained from family and friends, often from the home medicine cabinet.

To address this public safety issue, National Prescription Drug Take Back Day provides an opportunity for anyone to safely dispose of unused prescriptions at thousands collection sites across the country.
