STOP THE DEMOCRATS’ REDISTRICTING POWER GRAB: OPPOSE HJRCA 28

Democrat Speaker Chris Welch just proposed a partisan power grab that would allow his party to once again rig our electoral maps in a backroom deal to benefit themselves and their Washington allies.

This is a sneak attack on fair representation. If this constitutional amendment passes, Illinois voters who believe in competitive elections and honest maps will lose their voice for the foreseeable future. This is not democracy; it’s machine politics at its worst. Illinois families deserve better than politicians who change the rules every time they want more power.
